Mopping capabilities are also impressive and features the S8 Pro Ultra able to apply constant pressure of over 6 Newtons to the mop pad for a deep clean. It also comes with an automatic mop lifting mechanism, that will raise the pad when it goes from laminate to tile or hardwood to carpet and rugs, thereby avoiding getting soaked by these soft surfaces.

The S8 Pro Ultra also has self-washing and self-drying capabilities. The pad can be rinsed and heat-dried within the dock and the dust container is automatically emptied and returned to it. You can set it to forget about it. You will only need to refill the water tank or replace the dust bag occasionally.

All of this is powered by a 5,200mAh lithium-ion battery. The S8 Pro Ultra ran on its standard mop and vac-settings for about 160 minutes before beginning to lose power and returned to its base to recharge. This is within the range of the 180 minutes that Roborock claims, and is on par with other hybrids that I've tested.

It's a comprehensive, reliable product. The only downside is that it's expensive. Its sheer number of features makes it a great choice for anyone looking to replace their old stick vacuums and mops. If you are able to justify the hefty price tag, we highly recommend checking this one out.

2. Dreametech L10S Ultra

The Dreametech L10S Ultra is a high-end robot vacuum and mop combo. The high price is justified by its robust features, including a large vacuuming capacity and two gyrating mop heads. It comes with an app-enabled smart control system and powerful obstacle-avoidance technology.

The L10S Ultra is one of the most expensive robotic vacuums and mop combinations out there at a recommended retail price of 999 euros. In my testing it did very well in all areas of the house, removing 98.4% of debris on all types of floors and able to lift long hair with no getting caught in. The mops were also great in delivering outstanding cleaning results with less effort than mid-range models, due to their rotational motion as well as an incredibly strong cleaning solution.

However, the L10S Ultra's most significant highlight is its multi-functional docking station. The docking station empties the dustbin into a bag for dirt, refills the tank with water to use for mopping, and even dry mop pads. It also has an in-real-time system for detecting hazards and allows you to schedule regular cleaning sessions using its smart controls.

The L10S Ultra does not offer the best robot cleaner performance in removing carpet debris in comparison to the other hybrid vacuum mops I tested. The mops in the L10S Ultra are not as effective in removing tough staining as the Roborock S7 MaxV Ultra.

In spite of the L10S Ultra's top-of-the-line features, it requires regular maintenance and care. Its base station needs to be cleaned as well as the water and dust tanks should be cleaned, emptied and dried regularly to avoid mildew and unpleasant odors. The mop pads that are sold separately will also require changing regularly.

I would recommend the L10S Ultra to anyone with the budget. If you're on a budget I would suggest a less basic model that allows you to save money and still enjoy hands-free cleaning at your home. It's important to remember that even the L10S Ultra is the best robotic vacuum and mop combination you can buy however, its price and ongoing maintenance will ultimately make it more of a wish than a necessity.

3. Eufy S1 Pro

Eufy S1 Pro is the robot vacuum and mop you require to tidy up mess and clean dirt off your floors. This powerful robovac and mop combo packs a strong 8,000 Pa of suction power, an impressively large battery capacity for both vacuuming and mowing and a top-of-the-line obstacle avoidance. It even has a roller mop that cleans itself as it moves this makes the S1 Pro stand out from other models that require users to return to their base station mid-cleaning to clean the mop pad.

The S1 Pro uses a unique mopping system that is a significant difference from the microfibre pads and spinning discs of other robots. The roller is almost the entire width of the robot vacuum cleaner uk, and it is supplied with a continuous supply of clean water that is filtered and ozonated from the dock. When it turns the roller, it scrubs your floors while soaking up dirt and any dry debris is removed by the side brushes, or swept into the front colision bumper. The S1 Pro then dumps the dirty mop water into its base station, where it is sucked up by the tank's heating elements and then pumped into a larger storage canister. The tank onboard can hold a good amount of water and take on up to a dozen mopping session before running out.

The S1 Pro comes ready to use out of the package as do most robotic vacuums/mops. The S1 Pro will need to be filled with clean water. This can be done using the cleaning dock. If you'd like to make use of your own cleaner you can include a cleaning solution to dock. If you opt for this option, however, you will have to purchase the Eufy-branded cleaning solution, which is more costly than other robot vacuum cleaner brands allowing you to use your choice of cleaners.

As with most robots that are available, the S1 Pro did well in navigation efficiency and coverage evaluations. It was fast to map a room and it was able to navigate through furniture. The only problem is that it got stuck a couple times on larger pile carpets and rugs in my tests however this could be fixed when the software is updated. The S1 Pro is a very capable all-in-one robot for a reasonable price.

4. Roborock Qrevo

The Qrevo is Roborock's basic mop and vacuum, and it still offers some impressive features. Its multi-function dock drains the robot's dirtbag and replenishes its water tanks, while washing and sanitizing mop pads as it goes. The mopping system itself is capable of cleaning a large portion of an area before returning to its dock and the vacuum's high suction is capable of picking up debris and pet hair on carpets.

The application that runs the appliance is dense, and offers many options to customize the cleaning process. You can clean manually the entire area that this device maps or select specific rooms, an expandable zone or a custom routine you've designed. SmartPlan is one of the mopping options. It uses the sensors on the mops to map the area and determine the most efficient method to clean it.

The Qrevo performed well during our tests, just as all Roborock models that we've tested. Its navigation system is robust, mapping rooms quickly and cleaning them in a systematic fashion. Its 'Normal" pathing option covers an area well, and doesn't leave any major gaps or missing areas. Reactive Tech's hazard-avoidance feature works well too, but it's not as sophisticated as the color camera systems on the Qrevo Master and the S8 Pro Ultra. It can detect hazards such as thick carpets, but it may not always detect small things like rug tassels, or electrical wires.

The machine has a major problem: it doesn't offer a mop after vacuuming. This could be a problem for people who vacuum a lot before using their robot. There's a simple solution to this issue: the app offers a feature that allows you to "clean up" at the end of each session. You can use the mopping features of the vacuum to get rid of the dust and traces that are left behind after vacuuming. It's a nice touch, and it helps the robot to get rid of a bit better than its cheaper rivals.
